Nearly all the local processors do a great job processing and packaging pork, but they don’t cure the bacon or hams. But, there is one local processor – if you get on the waiting list – that will cure your bacon, hams, and other cuts, for that mouth-watering, smokey flavor we all love.

Skillet Hollow Meats in Flintstone, GA, recently processed two fine hogs for New Norm Farm customers – and the results are spectacular! The bacon is delicious and the sausage is a terrific blend with just enough bite.

Thankfully, several weeks ago, when we made an appointment for May 31st to get one of our pigs processed to eat here on the farm, we made a couple of extra appointments.
