Hope everyone is enjoying their spring. We have decided to kick off this spring with a video to remind us and everyone to take time out to enjoy God’s creation with family. Inspired by Joel Salatin’s words to have comma spots on the farm, we want to put an emphasis this year on placing comma spots on the farm to pause from the work and enjoy.

Mouth watering Bacon & Ham
Nearly all the local processors do a great job processing and packaging pork, but they don’t cure the bacon or hams. But, there is one local processor – if you get on the waiting list – that will cure your bacon, hams, and other cuts, for that mouth-watering, smokey flavor we all love.
We have 3 spots available at Skillet Hollow Meat processing on 2/27/2017. They do a great job processing and it usually takes 3 months to get a spot.
Secure your spot today!!
What makes New Norm Farm pork the best?
*Our pigs are born and raised right here on the farm in a natural, low-stress environment on pasture
*Our pigs are only given non-gmo, no soy feed from Tucker Milling
*Our pigs are rotated thru fresh pasture leaving the manure behind to fertilize the field
*Our pig’s rotating ensures they consistently get clean fresh pasture
*Our pigs get fresh air, sunshine, dirt, grass, bugs and all the good things they should
*Our pigs are allowed to express their pigness
Spring Sale: $300 each plus your processing fee. We deliver to the processor free of charge.

Slow Day at the Market
Farmers Kyle, Kassy, and daughter Abigail went to the “Market at the Mill” yesterday and had a great time getting to talk with customers and other vendors. With the threat of rain and the windy weather customers were in low numbers.
Abigail made up for that by taking eggs and bartering with Gdaddys BBQ for a little pulled pork. She gives Gdaddys a glowing review that can’t be put into words so here is a picture of the her enjoying the Gdaddys BBQ.
We recommend that you make time to come out to the “Market at the Mill” and meet us but more than that to enjoy a great atmosphere and buy/support local food. You can find fresh eggs, vegetables, honey, wheat grass and more. Hope to see you there next week!
